RNA - Ayatollah Shaykh Bashir Najafi a source of emulation in the holy city of Najaf in a message read by Shaykh Ali Najafi at the 33rd gathering of missionaries in Najaf said: "Mankind is practically incapable of counting and thanking blessings of Allah Almighty, one of which is the Prophet (pbuh) himself.”

He said Islam was a trust in the hands of Imam Hussein (AS) and added that: “Seyyed al-Shohada (AS) irrigated the tree of Islam with his own blood and made it clear that he would never give up the right to falsehood and oppression.”

His eminence considered revival of the Ashura Cause with all its characteristics as a duty, and noted that mixing the ideals of the Ashura Cause with the affections of humans is one of the best ways to revive this cause.

"The enemies do a lot of effort to distract the youth from the path to Imam Hussein (AS), but Ashura missionaries are the supporter and responsible for maintaining the cause of Sayyid al-Shohada (AS)," he said.

Ayatollah Najafi called for the removal of religious rituals from non-religious issues and emphasized that the missionaries should call people to say prayers on time and prevent them from Haram or “actions that would lead to promotion of a particular source of emulation.”

He also demanded “confession to Islamic monotheism before the death arrives”, and said: "missionaries must keep in mind that they should attract people to religion by their good deeds."

"Missionaries must attract people to religion based on customs and rituals they adhere to and meet with the families of the martyrs and the wounded," he said.
