He pointed to the efforts underway to promote efficiency of the Ground Force's units in a bid to fulfill the force's operational needs.
"Other components of the Ground Force are to address regional threats by boosting combat preparedness," General Heidari added.
In relevant remarks in July, General Heidari warned that the country's Armed Forces will give a crushing response to any aggression or threat by enemies.
"The power of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Ground Force has been displayed in the drills and we will give a crushing response to the aggressors," General Heidari said.
He also stressed that the Iranian Ground Force plans to stage several specialized drills in different parts of the country in the current year.
