RNA – A group of Sunni scholars have met in Beirut to mark the eleventh anniversary of Hezbollah victory’s in the 2006 33-day War against Israel and in the support of the equation of the Lebanese army, nation and Islamic Resistance [Hezbollah].
Groups attending the meeting included the Sunni Board in Support of the Resistance, the National Solidarity Party, the Reform and Unity Movement and the Ummah Movement.
Shaykh Abdullah al-Jabri, the head of the Ummah Movement, said, “Victory from southern Lebanon to the north of the country was gained through the bounty of the Lebanese army and blood of the warriors, and the golden equation of the army, nation and the Islamic Resistance, as well as the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
The Lebanese Sunni cleric added that the strong equation that the Islamic Resistance has established against the Zionist enemy and the various astonishing land and maritime accomplishments, as well as the ready-to-fire missiles launched toward the depths of the occupied territories, have caused fear and panic among the Zionists.
Shaykh al-Jabri said, “These issues demonstrate the patience of the Islamic Resistance and the readiness for the bigger surprises that even their allies cannot imagine.”
