RNA - "We strongly condemn recent the recent actions by the Zionists as a prelude for reoccupation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and we are ready to supply the Palestinians with needed medical assistance," Amir Abdollahian said in a meeting with the representative of the Palestinian resistance movement in Tehran Khaled al-Qaddumi.

Amir Abdollahian, meantime, voiced concern over the recent attack by Israel's armed forces on the Palestinian prayers which claimed lives of four people, leaving 400 more injured.

As the Secretary General of the Permanent Secretariat to Support Palestinian Intifada, Amir Abdollahian urged the Islamic countries to prevent Zionist regime from doing such rude acts.

Al-Qaddumi, for his part, said that Palestinians remain to seriously condemn Israeli actions and they are against "the Zionists' security measures".

During the meeting, the Iranian senior official also pointed to the relations between the Permanent Secretariat to Support Palestinian Intifada and about 800 international non-governmental organizations (NGO) and elaborated on Iran’s measures to support the Palestinian people and the urgent need for protecting the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In relevant remarks in late February, Amir Abdollahian underlined that the Muslim countries should not sideline the issue of Palestine.

"The issue of Palestine should be kept alive as the major issue of the Islamic world," Amir Abdollahian said.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister reiterated that supporting the Palestinian nation and confronting Israel will effectively contribute to the entire region's security.

Amir-Abdollahian described the Sixth International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada (Uprising) as an effective and strategic measure in support of the Palestinian nation and combatants against the terrorist and child-killing Israeli regime.

"Muslims will never abandon their first Qibla and they will stay with the oppressed Palestinian nation until their complete victory and liberation of Beit ul-Moqaddas," the Iranian deputy foreign minister said.

The 6th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada was held in late February and it issued a 24-point final statement calling for an end to seven decades of Israeli occupation of Palestine.
