Rasa - Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri in a congratulation message to his counterparts in the Muslim countries urged them to do their best to fight against terrorism.

RNA - “I hope the holy month of Ramadan will see further strengthening of fraternity bonds among the Islamic Ummah and uprooting the violence and terrorism in the world,” Jahangiri said in his message.

 

The Iranian first vice president in separate messages congratulated his counterparts in the Muslim countries on the advent of holy month of Ramadan.

 

Jahangiri also wished the holy month of Ramadan would be a month of blessing and benevolence for his counterparts in the Islamic World and a time for them to embrace the life-giving Islamic teachings to stop terrorism.

 

In relevant remarks earlier on Saturday, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani called for collective fight against terrorism and extremism in the world.

 

“I believe that Ramadan will provide an excellent opportunity for the Muslims to reinforce empathy, brotherhood, and friendship among themselves,” Larijani said in his messages to his counterparts from Muslim countries.

 

The Iranian parliament speaker underlined that in order to overcome the difficult conditions facing the Muslim world, Muslim nations require adopting a coherent approach against the growing trend of extremism and terrorism in the region.
