Rasa - The Syrian army continued its advances in Homs, and captured more strategic regions in the province.
Syria

RNA - The army units drove the ISIL terrorists out of key areas and their surrounding areas in Homs province.

 

The Syrian troops inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in fierce clashes over controlling of strategic regions. They also destroyed military equipment of the terrorists.

 

The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.

 

Homs

 

The Syrian Army units launched fresh attacks on ISIL's defense lines in Southeastern Homs and managed to push militants back from two more regions.

 

The army soldiers engaged in clashes with ISIL and imposed control over al-Mashtal region and al-Syriatel hill Southeast of Qasr al-Hayer al-Qarbi.

 

In the meantime, filed sources reported that recent advances of the army men around the town of Quaryatayn have assisted the army soldiers to reach the regions under the control of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) terrorists, adding that the FSA-held region is linked to Khneifes region and Jabal (mount) Rimeh South of Quaryatayn.

 

Military sources pointed out that the army is to restore sustainable security to al-Quaryatayn and T4 military airport via advancing against terrorists in areas near Quaryatayn.   

 

During the last several days, the army soldiers have been fighting Al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) in Northern Homs, killing or wounding a number of terrorists.

 

The army units also clashed with Al-Nusra terrorists that tried to prevail over the pro-government forces' positions in the village of Akrad al-Dasniyeh and managed to fend off terrorists' attack.

 

The Al-Nusra lost a large number of forces in the failed attack.

 

Raqqa

 

The predominately Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continued the fourth phase of the anti-ISIL Euphrates Rage Operation in Eastern and Western Raqqa and seized control over two more villages, killing 21 terrorists.

 

The SDF fighters engaged in tough battle with ISIL in the Eastern countryside of Raqqa and took control of the village of Beir Hamd after killing 21 terrorists and wounding several more.

 

Local sources reported that heavy fighting is underway in the town of Hamra Naser in the same region.

 

The Kurdish fighters also scored more victories against ISIL in the Western countryside of Raqqa and captured the village of Ker Hamo Vejya 12km to Raqqa city, the sources added.

 

They went on to say that the SDF fighters discovered a Turkish identity card in the positons of ISIL in al-Tabaqa city while carrying out cleansing operation in the city.

 

Aleppo

 

The Syrian Army troops continued their tough battle against ISIL in Eastern Aleppo and pushed them back from one more key village.

 

The army units drove ISIL out of the village of al-Ajouziyeh (second farm) East of Tal (hill) Fazeh, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

Military sources in Eastern Aleppo confirmed earlier on Monday that tens of regions, villages and towns have been liberated in a fresh round of the Syrian Army operation that has also inflicted major losses on ISIL terrorists.

 

The sources said that after a several-week halt and after the liberation of approximately 200 towns and villages in Eastern Aleppo in the previous round of the army operation in Eastern Aleppo, the pro-government forces' fresh operation has thus far been successful started to spread.

 

They added that the army has driven ISIL out of a number of villages, farms, towns and regions, killing a large number of terrorists and destroying their military vehicles.

 

Another military source also said that the army has managed to recapture tens of towns and villages as they started their operation to oust ISIL from Eastern Aleppo.

 

He added that, in the course of the military operation, pro-government forces have killed nearly 200 ISIL militants and destroyed at least 30 armored vehicles.

 

"Libation of Jarah airbase was a heavy blow to the ISIL," the source said, adding, "Arrival of hundreds of fresh army forces in Aleppo has accelerated toe domino of ISIL's collapse in the province."

 

"The army troops will soon reach the town of Maskana that is considered as the last bastion of ISIL in Aleppo province, whose recapture by the army men will practically end ISIL's presence in the province," the source underlined.

 

Lattakia

 

The Syrian Army coastal brigade's forces shot down three bomb-laden drones of the terrorists in Northern Lattakia, military sources said.

 

The sources said that three explosive-laden drones of the terrorists groups were shot down by the heavy fire of the coastal brigade forces in Jabal (mount) Zahi.

 

Last week, a Syrian army convoy was hit by US airstrikes in Eastern Homs, while in early April, the US warships launched 59 Tomahawk missiles on the Shayrat Air Base in Homs.

 

In September, a US airstrike killed over 100 Syrian soldiers in Deir Ezzur.

 

Idlib

 

One of the notorious commanders of Jeish a-Nasr who was also the terrorist group's most skillful operator of the US-made anti-tank TOW missiles was killed in an attack in Idlib countryside.

 

Ala Rahmoun was targeted by unknown gunmen in front of his house in the village of Kafr Batikh and succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

 

Ala Rahmoun was the most notorious operator and launcher of anti-tank missiles.

 

He was also known among militants as Ala TOW.
