RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Abdul-Majid Hakimelahi, the head of the Secretariat of the Congress of the Fight Against Takfiris, has met with Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi, a Najaf-based source of emulation. 


In the meeting, Ayatollah al-Najafi’s noted that the enemies of Islam seek to drive a wedge between the Muslim community and to tarnish the image of the noble religion of God in the world.


He stressed that given the current situation in the world, moderation is necessary and added, “Addressing the situation of Muslims and adherence to the ethics and conduct of the Ahlul-Bayt are some of the measures that should be given special attention.”

 
During the meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Hakimelahi also presented a report on the latest situation and conditions facing Muslims living in foreign countries to Ayatollah al-Najafi.


‘My wish is to fight the Takfiris’


The revered Pakistani source of emulation also met with a group of Iranian pilgrims and called on them to promote the ideas and path of the Ahlul-Bayt and said, “Authentic Islam invites the people toward love, brotherhood, peaceful coexistence and forgiveness.”


Ayatollah al-Najafi also met with Abu Dhiya al-Saghir, one of the commanders of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and stressed on necessity to destroy the Daesh Takfiri phenomenon as soon as possible and said, “The warriors are currently fighting against terrorism. In fact, they are the companions of Imam Husayn because they frustrate the hopes and wishes of the arrogant powers and tyrants of the world.” 


He added, “Despite being in my old age, my wish is to go and fight alongside the warriors against the terrorists.”
