Rasa - The Syrian army backed by the country's air force hit hard the terrorists' military positions and hardware in the newly-liberated areas in Homs province.
Syria

RNA - The terrorists sustained heavy losses in the Syrian army's attacks and air raids by the country's warplanes.

 

The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.

 

Homs

 

The Syrian Army troops continued their anti-ISIL offensives East of the newly-freed city of Palmyra (Tadmur) and captured more positions of the terrorists, deploying forces only 21km away from Arak energy-rich region in Eastern Homs.

 

The army men engaged in an intense battle with ISIL and seized full control over Ameriyeh settlement and Palmyra prison.

 

The army soldiers purged the regions near the Palmyra airport and deployed troops in an area only 21km away from Arak oilfield.

 

In the meantime, military sources said that the army forces are now advancing against ISIL East of Palmyra airport towards the regions of Bayareh Mohammad Batmaan and Bayareh Ham'ah al-Motlaq, adding that the government forces are just 10km away from the silos.

 

Media sources disclosed earlier today that the Russian military experts have trained a large number of Special Forces of the Syrian Army known as ISIL Hunters to fight against terrorists in Eastern Homs and in the Western territories of Palmyra city.

 

Aleppo

 

The Syrian Army soldiers continued to advance against the ISIL in vast areas in Eastern Aleppo in the last 24 hours and captured territories only 2km away from the facilities pumping water to Aleppo city.

 

The army troops stormed ISIL's positions and drove the terrorists out of the towns of Qasr al-Ahmar, Abajeh, Jubb al-Qahwa and the farms of Al-Ebadeh, Abajeh and Abu Tineh, deploying forces at positions only 3km away from al-Khafseh town and 2km away from Water Pumping Facilities near Lake Assad.

 

Damascus

 

The Syrian Army troops seized a missile depot of the Al-Nusra Front (Fatah al-Sham Front) during their advances in recently captured territories North-East of the capital.

 

A large depot of Al-Nusra's missile was discovered in the army soldiers' cleansing operation in al-Qaboun farms.

 

Meantime, field sources reported that sporadic clashes are underway between the army men and Al-Nusra terrorists near al-Qaboun.

 

The sources said that the Syrian Air Force has carried out several combat flights over the Al-Nusra positions in al-Qaboun, Arbin, Harasta and Hawsh al-Ashari.

 

The Arabic language al-Watan daily reported earlier on Tuesday that that the army soldiers continued to advance against terrorists in the districts of al-Qaboun, Tishrin and Barzeh, laying siege on the Al-Nusra terrorists that are trapped in al-Qaboun.

 

Al-Watan added that the army completed the siege of al-Qaboun after winning control over the driving school, the entire region of al-Hankarat and a part of al-Mohaba sports stadium.

 

Dara'a

 

The Syrian army has issued a last ultimatum to the terrorists stationed in Northern Dara'a to hand over their arms to relevant officials and join peace with the Damascus government, websites affiliated to the terrorists said.

 

The websites reported that Head of the Military-Security Committee in Southern Regions Brigadier General Wafiq al-Naser told terrorist commanders in Mahjeh town that their chance to endorse the peace agreement with Syrian government will end on Thursday morning.

 

The websites quoted al-Naser as saying that in case militants reject the peace plan, the army soliders will launch fresh operations to take back the town.  

 

Reports said earlier today that the army troops started a new round of battle against Al-Nusra Front in Dara'a al-Balad district and seized several residential complexes.

 

A machinegun-equipped position of the terrorists Southeast of Balal Habashi grand mosque was destroy in the attack, while the Al-Nusra suffered several casualties in the clashes.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Syrian Army troops kicked off a fresh round of heavy attacks on ISIL's positions in the Southern outskirts of Deir Ezzur city to remove the terrorists' siege on their comrades in the city's military airport.

 

The army soldiers intensified their offensive against ISIL's defense lines in al-Maqaber (cemetery) region in the Southern outskirts of Deir Ezzur city, inflicting several casualties on the militants.

 

In the meantime, the army units targeted ISIL's positions at a crossroad in al-Thardah region in the Southern countryside of Deir Ezzur, destroying a heavy machinegun-equipped vehicle and killing a number of terrorists.

 

The army aircraft also carried out several night-time attacks on ISIL's movements and positions in al-Makbat region, al-Mohandeseen region, near Tamin Brigade and in al-Thardah mountain, killing and wounding a number of militants and destroying their equipment and ammunition.

 

Hama-Idlib

 

The Syrian Army troops and Air Force launched heavy strikes on the positions and movements of the Al-Nusra Front (Fatah al-Sham Front) in Northern Hama and Eastern Idlib, killing more than 50 terrorists and wounding many more.

 

The army soldiers targeted Al-Nusra's positions in al-Tamanna town in Northern Hama, killing a number of terrorists and destroying three military vehicles.

 

In the meantime, the army units targeted terrorists' positions and movements in Taybat al-Imam and Lahaya towns, killing at least 15 militants.

 

Elsewhere in the Northern part of the same province, other units of the army targeted and destroyed a command post of the terrorists in Tal Hawash town.

 

In the meantime, the army men launched massive strikes on terrorists' positions in al-Barqousiyeh, Abu Habilat, Um Mil, Qalib, al-Thor and Salba towns and villages in Hama province, killing over 30 militants.

 

Informed sources said that the army aircraft also bombed the position of Al-Nusra near Tal Mardikh town in Eastern Idlib, killing or wounding six militants.
