RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Ali-Reza Arafi referred to the issue of the improving the livelihoods and lives of the Iranian people and added that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, has emphasized on this issue and noted that the services that the three branches of the government have offered to solve the problems that the people suffer from are worthy of appreciation but are not enough.
The head of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran added that the Resistance Economy, the struggle against corruption, control of economic corruption and the issue astronomical salaries must be pursued in a proper manner and action should at the end of the year in the country.
Ayatollah Arafi said that there are problems and hardships in the people’s lives which demand more determination and added that the level of action that has been accomplished so far are not enough and greater efforts must be taken.
Referring to the ongoing crisis in the southwestern Iranian province of Khuzestan, he stated, “Solving the problems that the people of Khuzestan and the country’s youth are facing require more effort and our demand and emphasis is that officials plan with greater seriousness.”
His Eminence referred to the Sixth International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada which concluded on Wednesday in Tehran and said the presence of guests from eighty countries and the comprehensive speech by the Supreme Leader and the final statement of the conference must be the model of the work of the Islamic Resistance in Palestine and the region.
Ayatollah Arafi praised the organizers of the conference and said that Ayatollah Khamenei’s remarks and closing statement focused on the very important issues, saying, “We as Friday prayer worshippers and members of the Islamic Seminary of Qom announced our support for the speech of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and the final declaration of the conference.”
“The entire Islamic world knows that the way to save the ummah and overpower the Zionists and the powerful enemies of the Islamic ummah is through unity and resistance against the Zionist enemy,” he stressed.
The head of al-Mustafa International University said that emphasis on the issue of resistance is very important and the Palestinians and the Islamic ummah must know that the path toward victory is not through compromise and miserable and contemptible dialogue against the enemies but rather the path toward victory can be achieved by following the path of courage, persistence, unity and opposition to the enemies with all of our abilities.
“The only way to advance is through the path that the Supreme Leader has clarified for us,” Ayatollah Arafi noted.
