RNA – During a visit and pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Ridha in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad, Asef Ali Darani, the Pakistani ambassador to Iran, visited the central museum of the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Ridha and said, “The dedication of heads of the Islamic countries including both Sunnis and Shi’as shows the unity across the Islamic world that has gathered in this museum.”

“The precious gifts donated by heads of Islamic countries to this historical and religious museum prove that the attempt of the enemy for creating disunity among the Islamic countries has failed and all Muslims of the world are brothers,” he remarked.

“The Holy Shrine of Imam al-Ridha is a sacred and respectable place for all Muslims and its singular architecture inspirits the soul,” the Pakistani ambassador to Iran said.

“This holy place is highly rich not only religiously but also culturally and represents the traces of different historical periods that attracts any visitor,” Darani said.

Noting that he has had the honour of several attendances in the Holy Shrine, he remarked, “Travelling to Mashhad and visiting the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Ridha is a wish for Muslims and especially Pakistani Muslims and each year a large number of them attend in the Holy Shrine.”
