RNA – Delivering a speech to worshipers in Tehran on Friday, Ayatollah Kazem Seddiqi slammed the Manama regime for committing treason against the nation instead of serving people, saying the Bahrain government which was originally devised to serve people has now changed into a tool to betray the nation.

He said the recent cruel move by the Manama regime is a reminder of the atrocities by Iran’s deposed Shah (king), who became weaker by killing people, adding that the Al Khalifah and Al Saud are also going to suffer the same fate.

Ayatollah Seddiqi said the Bahraini nation has just one demand, which is universally approved by all, to have the opportunity to vote for their destination and decide their own futures.

He also lashed out at the ruling family of Bahrain for responding to peaceful protests with bullets, saying those who claim supporting human rights and democracy the US style have silent in face of this legitimate demand for five years now and embarked on giving it a response through bullets.

Ayatollah Seddiqi warned the Al Khalifah and Al Saud regimes who follow these behaviours to stop such practices which would eventually lead to them be forced out of power.

On Monday, the Manama ruling regime said the citizenship of Shaykh Qasim has been revoked, accusing him of sowing sectarian divisions.

Bahrain, a close ally of the US in the Persian Gulf region, has been witnessing almost daily protests against the ruling Al Khalifah dynasty since early 2011, with Manama using heavy-handed measures in an attempt to crush the demonstrations.

Scores of Bahrainis have been killed and hundreds of others injured and arrested in the ongoing crackdown on the peaceful demonstrations.

Amnesty International and many other international rights organizations have frequently censured the Bahraini regime for the rampant human rights abuses against opposition groups and anti-regime protesters.

In other remarks, Ayatollah Seddiqi further turned to an act by Israeli rabbis who urge the occupying regime to poison the water used by Palestinians and said such people are in fact advocates of savagery, brutality and barbarism who deceitfully claim supporting human rights.
