Rasa – Ayatollah Nouri Hamadani denounced the revocation of Ayatollah Isa Qasem’s citizenship by the Al Khalifah regime and called on Islamic organizations to break their silence about this oppression and to act according to their Islamic and human duties.

RNA – Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani has issued a statement condemning the Al Khalifah regime’s revocation of the citizenship of Bahrain’s most senior Shi’a cleric, Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qasim, wherein the revered source of emulation said: “We call on the Islamic community to break their silence over the tyrannous action and act in regard to its Islamic and human duties.

On Monday, Bahrain revoked the citizenship of Ayatollah Qasim, accusing him of sowing “sectarianism and violence.”

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry claimed in a statement that Ayatollah Qasim actively sought the “creation of a sectarian environment” through his connections with foreign powers.

The ministry claimed that the cleric had misused his religious position to advance a political agenda and serve foreign interests.

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani’s message is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Once again, the Al Khalifah regime, as a lackey of the United States and its regional agents, especially Saudi Arabia, is acting in a dangerous manner and has departed from all reason and logic.

This regime thinks that by revoking Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qasim’s citizenship, they can hid their crimes, including the repression of Bahraini citizens and gross human rights violations, but are unaware that such a move resulted in awakening the people of Bahrain and the exposure of their oppression in the world.

We condemn this act and declare our support for the warrior scholar, Shaykh Isa Qasim and the oppressed people of Bahrain and call on Islamic organizations to break their silence about this oppression and to act according to their Islamic and human duties.

“If you help God, He will help you and make your feet steady” [Quran 47:7]
