RNA – “Standing against the US, is standing against aggression, assassination, and deceit, and as a result it is a responsibility,” said Ayatollah Kazem Seddiqi on Friday addressing the prayers in Tehran Grand Prayer Hall.
The senior cleric rejected that there is any way according to Islam to get along with the US and talking about the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Ma’bath, described Americans as pioneers of ignorance alike the opponents of the Prophet Muhammad at the time of his first revelation.
He asserted that Islam has always been in war with the arrogant and the contemporary situation is even more difficult as the enemies of Islam today are equipped with industry, technology, and science.
Referring to the decision of American Supreme Court in confiscating Iranian funds restored in American banks, the cleric attributed it to Americans’ dishonesty in terms of being committed to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) signed between Iran and the P5+1 in Vienna on July 14, 2015.
“Believing in God, and in what He has promised in the Quran, I assuredly announce that the US is in disintegration, and the Islamic Revolution is going to win its rights,” Ayatollah Seddiqi underlined.
Hijab, teachers’ status, Tehran International Book Fair and the popularity of book in Iran, and politicization of non-political issues were the other areas of the His Eminence’s second sermon.
