RNA – During a meeting with the management of ‘Interest-Free Loan Fund of the Islamic Propagation Office,’ Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi reiterated the importance of interest-free loans in Islam, saying: “It has been repeated several times throughout Quran that interest-free loans are favoured by God. Therefore, this excellent tradition must be promoted in the society.”
The revered source of emulation added: “We can’t find so many banks and financial centers which pay interest-free loans to their customers and therefore, creating such great financial foundation is among the best activities of the Islamic Propagation Office.”
Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi then addressed the management of this financial foundation and said: “Try your best to provide marriage loans and alike, try to improve the amount and diversity of your loans to customers.”
