The demise of the great scholar and mujtahid, Grand Ayatollah Abol-Qasem Khazali is a cause of great sorrow.

This honourable jurisprudent was one of the respectable personalities who participated in the jurisprudence classes of great scholars such as Grand Ayatollah [Sayyid Hoseyn] Boroujerdi, Imam [Sayyed Ruhollah] Khomeini and Allamah [Sayyed Mohammad-Hoseyn] Tabataba’i in the Islamic Seminaries of Mashhad and Qom for many years.

After reaching a high level of knowledge and spiritual perfection, he became one the great teachers in in the Seminary of Qom. With a great interest in Islamic teachings and knowledge, he memorized the Quran and Nahj al-Balaghah and had an important role in the promotion of Islamic sciences in a comprehensive and complete manner.
