RNA – According to Rasa News Agency’s correspondent in Iraq, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad-Sa’id al-Hakim, one of the sources of emulations based in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf, met today with Ahmad al-Asadi, the spokesman for the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces.
Ayatollah al-Hakim stressed the need for the Popular Mobilization Forces to abide by Islamic law and teachings, adding: “The Popular Mobilization Forces must liberate the areas held by ISIL terrorists according to the tradition and method of the Ahlul-Bayt (A).”
The revered source of emulation emphasized that the fighters should adhere to moral principles and always listen closely to the commands issued by the sources of emulation.
“We must always remember the fighters and pray for their quick recovery for those who have been injured,” he added.
Ayatollah al-Hakim prayed for the forgiveness of the martyrs and warriors and also for the warriors’ return to their families and for their ultimate victory over the Takfiri terrorists.
During the meeting, Ahmad al-Asadi also conveyed the greetings of the Popular Mobilization Forces to Ayatollah al-Hakim and presented a report on the operations being conducted in the region.
