Rasa News Agency Reports – In the gathering of numbers of seminary students of Al-Mustafa International University, Ayatollah Nasir Makarim Shirazi appreciated the activities of practitioners of the university.

The outstanding jurist then congratulated the birthday of Imam Mohammed Baqir, the Shiite 5th Imam, and mentioning the virtues of the Imam he said: “One of the greatest honors of Imam Mohammed Baqir is that both his mother and father were Alawi (children or grandchildren of Imam Ali)”.

Citing a Hadith from Imam Ali the first Imam of Shiite, he considered the divine grace as an unlimited fact saying: “If [different] individuals gain different profit out of it, it’s because of the difference of human capacities. So we need to increase our existential capacity by increasing our faith and cognition”.

Emphasizing that knowledge would expand one’s thoughts, he noted that the more our sincerity increases, the more we increase our existential capacity and in result we would be able to gain advantage of the divine grace.

The jurist then cited a hadith categorizing the people into three separate groups and said: “The first group is the scholars; the scholars are divine and are like the sun [that shines] and others profit from their existence. We all must try to be in this group. You the non-Iranian students must shine in your own country”.

He named the second group as the learners for deliverance path and then said: “The third group is the people without any purpose and because they don’t have any strong reliance, they follow any kind of call and their work is baseless”.

Ayatollah Makarim Shirazi then emphasized that the students must deal with the difficulties by tolerance and patience and stated: “I know so many individuals who had good talent but didn’t achieve anything because they didn’t have tolerance. On the other hand there have been people with medium talents but have achieved great successes because of their tolerance and patience. Our great jurists have also had these moralities”.

Addressing the non-Iranian seminary student he emphasized that you are here to revive Thaqalayn (the Holy Book and the Progeny of the Prophet) and declared that the troubles of the students have decreased a lot nowadays and you can propagate the knowledge of Shia more powerful and by the use of facilities and resources”.

The Islamic jurist then said that the path of heaven is the path of knowledge and wisdom and the path of hell is the path of unawareness and ignorance and cited and interoperated some hadith in excellence of learning knowledge.

He also advised the seminary students to study more seriously and emphasized that the more you act with sincerity and faithfulness, the more there would be ground for your success.
