RNA - Seyyed Sadr el Din Qabbanchi, Friday prayer leader of Najaf, in his weekly sermon praised release of Tikrit without any help from international forces saying that the city had turned into a citadel for DAESH (ISIS,ISIL,IS) terrorist group.
"DAESH terrorist group had bet on Tikrit and the city had become a citadel for them." said the cleric and stressed efforts to release other areas and return of the Iraqis to their homes.
In another part of his speech, Iraqi cleric slammed military invasion on Yemen and hailed the resistance of the Yemeni nation against the attacks.
He said," Support of the Arab League from war against Yemen is shameful and this war will certainly end in collapse of those who played a role in its outbreak." expressing regret that the military coalition of the Arab states was formed against the Yemeni nation rather than in confrontation with the Zionist regime and defending the oppressed Palestinian people.
Senior member of Iraq Supreme Council also praised recent nuclear agreement between Iran and the west saying that the nuclear talks in Lausanne is a victory for Iran since it made it to prove its nuclear rights after a 10-year struggle.
