Rasa News Agency – Ayatollah Naser Makarim Shirazi yesterday in the A’zam Mosque in Qom strongly condemned the Shia killings in Pakistan in the terrorist incident which occurred in Karachi.
The Ayatollah considered this terrorist incident as a large crime and expressed: “Some time ago at Quetta a large bombing happened by the excommunicating Wahhabis and many people got martyred and more recently also they have done another bombing in Karachi which led to the wounding and martyred hundreds of people.”
The distinguished scholar of the Islamic seminary mentioned that we cannot keep silent towards this issue and not condemn it, and he announced the decision of the Islamic Seminary cancelling all of the lessons from all levels of the Qom Islamic Seminary and holding a large community protests at the A’zam Mosque against the violent crimes that is happening in Pakistan.
Ayatollah Makarim Shirazi emphasized: “This is our message to the government of Pakistan that if you cannot keep your citizens safe than give your position to more suitable people”
The Ayatollah stating that the Shia of the whole world must protest against these violent crimes said: “What is this that they have made some violent excommunicating people in the world and they perform many new terroristic crime every day and kill innocent people”.
Ayatollah Makarim Shirazi asserted: “The Islamic Republic of Iran must show its opposition more powerfully and do not walk away from these issues quietly, they must scream this out.”
