RNA - Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani has met with a group of employees of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. In an explanation of the economic structure of Islam, His Eminence said that Islam does not accept the capitalist economy as Islam wants all people to have access to welfare.

In his criticism of government performance in the area of economics, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said in a society based on Islamic economics, there should not be any disadvantaged or poor people. Poverty and unemployment should be eliminated and the blessings of God [should be able to] reach people easily. “Unfortunately, the situation which should exist, does not,” he stated.

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani explained a narration from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq in this regard, saying: “Imam as-Sadiq said that all people are in need of the blessings of safety, justice. To realize these blessings, it is the duty of the government to strive and fulfill them. However, due to the blessings of the Islamic Revolution in our country, we have the highest levels of security.”

His Eminence also pointed to the importance of building the culture of the Islamic society. He stated that the faith of the people is very important. “Our Islamic Revolution was built on this premise. The cultures of self-sacrifice,  martyrdom and the spirit of self-belief are among the forms of culture that the Islamic Revolution has institutionalized in the people of Iran. These cultures must be preserved and strengthened,” Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani concluded.

In his work, A Divine Treatise on Rights, Imam Ali as-Sajjad. In this treatise, fifty major human rights in relation to others are specified. “If we want justice in society, we must implement these fifty rights,” Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated.

The revered source of emulation emphasized that much of the inflation in Iran has been caused by the lack of oversight and command over prices. Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated that many times, he has suggested to officials that in many countries, prices are same throughout the country. “Currently, prices and different services in various areas of a city or provinces often vary,” His Eminence stated.
