Rasa – The Friday prayer leader of Najaf during his sermon mentioned that the uprising in Bahrain is a peaceful uprising and that Al-Khalifa did not even get arrest one protester based on illegal acts.

Rasa News Agency Reports – Sayed Sadru-Din Qobanchi the Friday prayer leader of the holy city of Najaf in his Friday sermon talked about the beginning of the 3rd year of the uprising in Bahrain and said: “The 2nd year of the uprising in Bahrain has passed and the Bahraini people are still continuing to demand their basic rights but Al-Khalifa have chosen not to give these basic rights.”
He said: “Even though the Bahraini people have chosen to protest peacefully for their rights, the global community especially the Arabian countries have chosen to keep silent towards the (Al-khalifa) criminal crackdown on protesters.”
The teacher of the Islamic seminary of Najaf with emphasizing the necessity for continuing the peaceful protests said: “The methods used by the people of Bahrain to protest for their right is completely correct; the people of Bahrain are emphasizing on unity and are staying away from tribal racism and the Al-Khalifa till now could not make an arrest based on criminal and illegal acts.”
Sayed Qobanchi in another part of his sermon analyzed the latest developments of Iraq and the protests which are occurring in this country and said: “Some movements are trying its best to fuel the fire of the political crisis we are having but they should know that no one is safe from the these fires and they will also burn from it.”
The member for the Supreme Islamic council of Iraq talked about the judicial system of Iraq and mentioned: “We welcome the fact that the judicial system has released innocent inmates from prison and is currently going through reforms in order to enforce justice.”
In regards to the important role the judicial systems has in a society Sayed Qobanchi stated: “Judges have a very important and sensitive responsibility thus they have to be the most pious people and they must stay away from tribal racism and affiliation with political groups. All judges in the day of judgment have to face Allah and answer to all the verdicts they have given.”
