RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Najafi, the son and head of the office of Grand Ayatollah Bashir ‎‎al-Najafi in the holy city of Najaf said the importance of medical and ‎health staff services in ‎the fight against COVID-19 (Coronavirus) didn’t deter the warriors ‎from fighting on the front ‎lines and liberating areas from the Daesh Takfiri terrorists. ‎

He described the struggle of the Iraqi medical staff against the Coronavirus as a sacrifice and ‎‎dedication by doctors and nurses and convey Ayatollah al-Najafi’s appreciation for all of ‎‎them and their efforts.‎

He prayed to God Almighty that the victory of the medical and health staff in the fight ‎‎against Coronavirus will be achieved soon because their efforts will remind the Iraq people ‎‎of the sacrifices of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Iraqi army in the fight against the ‎‎Daesh terrorist group.‎

The Popular Mobilization Forces fighters played a major role in the liberation of Daesh-held ‎areas to the south, northeast and north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, after the terrorists ‎launched an offensive in the country, overrunning vast swathes in lightning attacks.‎
