Army, Air Force Heavily Pound Terrorists' Key Military Positions in Hama, Idlib
RNA - The Syrian Army and Air Force launched massive attacks on strategic military positions and ammunition depots of Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib.

Hama, Idlib

The Syrian Army's artillery and missile units targeted Tahrir al-Sham's military positions and movements in the towns of al-Latamneh, Kafr Zira and al-Hobait in Northern Hama, destroying several rocket-launching positions and military vehicles as well as killing several of their military vehicles.

The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper, meantime, reported that the Syrian Army and Air Force pounded the terrorists' movements in the towns of al-Sayyad, Kafr Nubl, al-Baredeh, Has, al-Hobait and Abedin in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib, destroying terrorists' large ammunition depot and military equipment.

Meantime, the terrorists launched rocket attacks on residential areas and houses of civilians in the city of al-Saqilbiyeh and the town of Ain al-Korum in Northern Hama, killing and injuring 11 civilians.

Also in the past 24 hours, the Syrian army in an ambush operation against Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at regained control of strategic Kafar Naboudeh town after killing tens of terrorists.

The Syrian Army won control over Kafar Naboudeh only a few days after it made strategic withdrawal from the key town.

The Damascus Army's artillery and missile units launched heavy attacks on Tahrir al-Sham's military positions and movements in Kafar Naboudeh in Northwestern Hama and took control of the town, the Arabic-language website of Sputnik news agency reported.

Meantime, a military source also announced that the army troops also managed to kill at least 30 terrorists and also destroy their military vehicles.

The source also said that the Syrian Army has started strengthening its point in the town and cleanse the region from remaining terrorists.

Also on Sunday, senior opposition officials in Northern Syria said that massive military equipment has been sent by Ankara for terrorists in Idlib province to confront the Syrian Army and reinforce areas under their control in this region.

The Middle East Online news website quoted two Syrian opposition leaders as saying that Turkey has increased its military aid to terrorists in the last few days.

Meantime, a senior militant commander said Turkey intends to maintain its influence in Northwestern Syria, and said Ankara has reinforced its military presence in 12 military positions mentioned in the Sochi Agreement.

The source also said that tens of armored vehicles, Grad missile launchers, guided anti-tank missiles and TOW missiles have been sent to the militants for battle against the Syrian Army in Kafar Naboudeh.

Meantime, another militant also disclosed that the Turkish army has sent a military convoy to a military base in Jbal al-Zawieh in Northern Hama.

Aleppo

The Syrian and Russian armies dispatched a large number of troops to Northern Hama and built new military positions there to confront a possible aggression by the Turkish Army, Kurdish media said.

The Xber24 news website reported that the Russian troops have built four military points in the city of Tal Rafat in Northern Syria to support the Syrian Army in the war on terrorism.

It pointed to the arrival of a large number of Russian Army forces together with heavy weapons to the military points over the past two days and equipment of these bases, and said that these forces have reinforced their military points in the town of Kashta'ar in Northern Aleppo and some new commanders have also been appointed to the mission.

Meantime, it said that the Russian military reinforcements came as differences have intensified between the Turkish and Russian sides after Ankara supported Tahrir al-Sham in its attacks on the Syrian Army.

According to a military source in Aleppo, the Syrian Army has also sent reinforcements from the capital, Damascus, and Homs to the Southern countryside of the province. The reinforcements have reportedly arrived at the key town of Al-Hadher.

The source told Al-Masdar that the Syrian Army is preparing to launch an offensive around the key town of Tal Al-‘Eis, which they briefly captured during their late 2015 offensive.

Also in the past 24 hours, a number of families of former terrorists who operated in Eastern Ghouta returned to areas under the control of the Syrian Army from Ankara-controlled regions in Afrin in Northwestern Aleppo as tensions have heightened there, media reports said.

Several families of former militants who had rejected the peace plan and were settled in the town of Bibaka in Balbal region of Afrin in Northern Syria have returned to Eastern Ghouta, the Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported.

The exit of militants' families from Afrin region is while infighting and insecurities have increased in Afrin.

Raqqa

Nearly a dozen Syrian Democratic Forces were killed and wounded in two consecutive explosions which targeted an SDF military convoy and headquarters in the city of Raqqa, the Arabic-language media outlets said.

According to Fars News Agancy, the Arabic-language Sputnik News Agency reported that an SDF patrol hit a roadside bomb at al-Jazreh intersection, West of Raqqa city, adding that a vehicle was destroyed and all militants inside the vehicle were killed.

Meantime, another explosion hit the center of SDF in al-Mashhadani Hospital in the center of Raqqa, killing six SDF members and injuring tens of others.

The SDF declared a state of alert in all districts of Raqqa city right after the blasts.

Lattakia

A Russian newspaper in a report on Ankara's attempt to arm terrorists in Northern Syria in flagrant violation of the Sochi Agreement with Russia disclosed Turkey's support for militants' attack on Humeimem Military Base in Lattakia Province.

After declaring ceasefire by the Syrian Army in Idlib province on May 18, terrorists launched rocket attacks on Russia's Humeimem military base which resulted in emergency phone talks between the Russian and Turkish sides, the Arabic-language service of Russia Today cited Russian daily Nezavisimaya Gazeta as saying.

It added that a news website affiliated to Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at released photos on the attack on Humeimem military base as the rockets used in the attack bore Turkish-language imprints. However, the pictures were taken off hours later.

The report also noted that the attack on Humeimem military base had not been possible without Ankara's support, and said that Turkey arms terrorists who are fighting the Syrian government as Humeimem military base constantly comes under attack by terrorists stationed in Idlib.
