Ayatollah al-Yaqoubi:
A senior Iraqi scholar noted that the statements of the hypocrites and the impercipient ‎must not obstacles for the believers ‎to carry out the rituals in memory of Imam al-Husayn.‎

According to Rasa News Agency’s correspondent in Najaf,‎ Ayatollah Muhammad al-‎Yaqoubi, an Iraqi source of emulation, told a group of members of the media, clerical ‎leaders of the Hajj caravans that Husayni mawkibs, charitable religious and social ‎organizations must be sincere in carrying out rituals in memory of Imam al-Husayn.‎

The Iraqi scholar added, “The statements of the hypocrites and the impercipient must not ‎obstacles for the believers to carry out rituals in memory of Imam al-Husayn and to learn ‎from the movement of Imam al-Husayn in such matters as reformation, enjoining the good ‎and forbidding the wrong, resistance against the oppression and supporting the oppressed.”‎

Ayatollah al-Yaqoubi stated, “Imam al-Husayn’s companions outdistanced each other in ‎sacrifice and didn’t sustain a loss in donating their lives in the path of the defence of the ‎Master of the Martyrs but rather they obtained salvation, the satisfaction of God Almighty ‎and the intercession of the Prophet Muhammad.”‎

In conclusion, His Eminence honoured the efforts of the clerical leaders in performing their ‎duties in the Hajj caravans and called on all believers to spare no effort in exalting the name ‎of God and promoting authentic Islamic teachings.‎
