Louvre Museum officials visit Museum of Lady Ma’sumah in Qom

RNA – Two French officials from Paris’ famous Louvre Museum, Mrs. Yannick Linz, head of the Islamic Artifacts section, and Judith Hannon, head of the Safavid section of the Louvre, paid a visit to the Museum of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah in the Iranian holy city of Qom and met with Hujjat al-Islam Mohammadi-Kermanshahi, the head of the museum’s Department of Culture and Art.

 

They also met with Hujjat al-Islam Kashfi, the head of the museum.


 
Hujjat al-Islam Kashfi, elaborating on the valuable treasures held in the Museum of Lady al-Ma’sumah, went on to express his willingness to expand cooperation between the two museums in terms of conducting research studies and hoped that such joint efforts might end in both centers future developments.


 
During the meeting, the French Officials also visited different parts of the Museum of Lady al-Ma’sumah.
