RNA – Speaking at the Imam Ali Prayer Hall in Kerman, Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Khatami, the representative of the people of Kerman province in the Assembly of Experts, referred to the martyrdom of General Qasem Soleymani and said, “The most important duty of the people and the officials is to protect the Islamic Resistance and resist against the enemies of Islam.”
The temporary Friday prayer leader of Tehran added, “The sincerity of General Qasem Soleymani is known as one of his most prominent attributes and that this commander said that he wants to be buried alongside Martyr Mohammad-Hoseyn Yousefelahi and to just write ‘soldier’ on his tombstone are just a few examples of sincerity in his personality.”
He pointed out that General Soleymani is the loyal friend of the late Imam Khomeyni and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, and said, “People around the world are seeking revenge for the shedding of the blood of General Soleymani.”
Ayatollah Khatami emphasized that in Kerman, the people are participating in the funeral in a glorious manner and added, “The officials must take the best possible opportunity to seek revenge for the shedding of the blood of General Soleymani by the criminal United States.”
His Eminence said that the Supreme Leader shed tears while performing the funeral prayer for General Soleymani and noted, “The glorious presence of the people in the funeral prayers is a maneuver of allegiance to the Islamic system.”
He stated that today, the Middle East region owes its support to General Soleymani and said, “The slogan of ‘death to America’ and ‘death to Israel’ are due to the blessings of the blood of General Soleymani throughout the world.”
Ayatollah Khatami stressed that General Soleymani was a soldier who supported wilayah (guardianship) and said, “Hatred of the United States and Israel existed in the entire being of General Soleymani and the wish of General Soleymani was for the United States to leave the Middle East and for the destruction of Israel.”
His Eminence added that the United States is considered as a wolf of the present era and added, “More than five million people took to the streets to mourn the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance in Tehran and all of them have been shouting for revenge.”
He said, “The image of the United States in the region and around the world has been destroyed and the only way to achieve victory over the enemies is through unity and solidarity.”
Ayatollah Khatami noted that General Soleymani fought on the battlefield for nearly forty years and stated, “The reduction of all nuclear obligations and the withdrawal of American troops from Iraqi territory is due to the blessings of General Soleymani.”
In conclusion, he said, General Soleymani’s ideology and path continue and the most important task duty of the people and the officials is to protect the Islamic Resistance and resist the enemies of Islam.
