RNA – The ninth regional meeting of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, which was ‎attended by scholars and clergymen from Esfahan, Markazi and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari ‎provinces, concluded on December 5th and a final statement was issued.‎

In the final statement, which was read by Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Khatami and signed by ‎Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi, the head of the Supreme Council of the Society of Seminary ‎Teachers of Qom, the need for the authorities to address the economic and livelihood ‎problems of the people was emphasized. ‎

The strategy for achieving this important issue focused on the Resistance Economy, ‎domestic production and the utilization of the massive capacities of the youth.‎

In this regard, the group of senior scholars said, “Now that the enemies of the Islamic ‎Revolution have targeted the economy and livelihoods of the honorable people of Iran with ‎threats and sanctions, greater attention is being paid to the Resistance Economy, reliance on ‎domestic production and benefiting from the huge capacities of the faithful and vibrant youth ‎of the country. Therefore, it’s necessary for the respected officials and dear people of ‎Islamic Iran to invest in production and economic prosperity and to turn the threats into an ‎appropriate opportunity for the prosperity of our economy.”‎
‎ ‎
The final statement also emphasized the importance of the Statement on the Second Phase ‎of the Islamic Revolution, which was issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic ‎Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei. This statement was addressed to the people of Iran, ‎particularly to the youth, and was published in February 2019, on the occasion of the fortieth ‎anniversary of the victory of the Iranian Revolution.‎
‎ ‎
The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom also praised the Iranian people’s creation of an ‎‎“epic” in their recent confrontation with rioters over the increased price of gasoline, noting ‎that these bitter events were premeditated and directed by the enemies of the nation and ‎the Islamic Revolution, including the criminal United States, the vicious Zionist regime, ‎remnants of the terrorist group “People’s Mujahedin of Iran” (MEK), monarchists and the ‎Saudi government. ‎

During these riots, the Supreme Leader spoke with ingenuity, tact, and intelligence during his ‎jurisprudence class and the critics were separated from the evil ranks of the rioters and their ‎masters and led to the widespread presence of people in various cities of the country and ‎unified and organized marches condemning the acts of the rioters and opportunists.‎

These marches demonstrated the dignity and authority of Islamic Iran and there is no doubt ‎that the respected authorities, while grateful for the widespread presence of the people and ‎for magnificent epic, must focus their public concerns and efforts on resolving the problems ‎facing the country.‎

‎“The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom ‎expresses its gratitude and appreciation for the ‎tact of the Supreme Leader and his timely remarks and the epic presence of the beloved ‎people of Islamic Islam and strongly condemns the destructive actions of the rioters and ‎the plots of their foreign supporters,” the final statement said.‎
‎ ‎
The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom also emphasized on the importance of the ‎passionate presence of the people in the February 21, 2020 legislative election and the ‎election of righteous and revolutionary individuals who are obedient to the Islamic system by ‎the people.‎
