Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday when the Israeli occupation forces heavily opened fire at the peaceful protesters taking part in the Great March of Return.

RNA - The Ministry of Health announced that 49 Palestinian demonstrators were wounded by Israeli live ammunition and tear gas bombs, including two journalists, Palinfo reported.

Thousands of Palestinian citizens marched along the Eastern border of the Gaza Strip on the 69th Friday of the Great March of Return in protest at Israel's demolition of over 70 Palestinian homes in Sur Baher town in Jerusalem.

Since the start of the Great March of Return in late March 2018, the Israeli occupation forces have killed 321 Palestinians and injured over 32,000.
