Imam Khomeini fought the Taghut according to the religion of Islam

RNA - The Friday prayer leader of Najaf, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Sadr ad-Din Qobanchi, in the gathering held on the anniversary of the decease of Imam Khomein, held in Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba of Najaf Ashraf, participated by the representative of the sources of emulation, Friday prayer leaders, politicians and religious and social figure, said, “Some different Islamic movements have dealt with multiple problems during the history, but Imam Khomeini managed to conquer those problems.”

Concerning Imam Khomeini’s movement, he stated, “Trust in God, emphasis on the Islamic identity and the unity of the Iranian people, motivated by Islam, were the chief characteristics of his movement.”

He finally said, “Imam Khomeini remained committed to the law and tenacity against the dictators and eventually, he managed to upset the king of Iran through a peaceful revolution.”
