Friday Prayer of Beirut said, “The Islamic Revolution of Iran overthrew the throne of tyranny and its followers.”

RNA - In his Friday prayers sermon of this week, which held at al-Imamain al-Hassanain Mosque, Hojjat al-Islam Sayed Ali Fazl-Allah Friday Prayer leader of Haret Hreik region in Beirut, Lebanon, in the presence of a number of political, social, scientific, and Shiite figures of the country, congratulated the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran to the people and the Supreme Leader of the country and said, “This revolution overthrew the throne of tyranny and its followers and supported the oppressed and poor people of the world, especially Palestine and in this path, it endured many problems and sanctions.”

“We want people of Arabic and Islamic countries, to shake hand with Iran as the country shake hands with them, so that by this mean we could see more convergence and complementarity to act against (common) threats”, he added.

Hojjat al-Islam Sayed Ali Fazlo-allah pointed to meeting of Ahmed el-Tayeb Grand Imam of al-Azhar and Pope Francis, leader of the Catholic Christians of the world that traveled to the UAE to participate in the World Conference on "Human Brotherhood" and said, “Such meetings are of great importance to increase the relationship between the two divine religions - Islam and Christianity – and they also could prevent the violence that is attributed to Islam and Christianity to stain them.”

“By holding such visits the unity of various communities could be maintained and stood against world cruelty”, he emphasized and said, “We should not forget the occupation of Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip, which has been under siege, among such meetings and conferences.”

“We are observing an increase in the security and economic pressure on the Palestinian people in various fields, the last of which is the rights of the families of the martyrs. We want the people of Arabic and Islamic countries to act on their duty for Palestine and attempt as much as they can to fight the cruel enemies”, Friday Prayer leader of Beirut clarified.
