A number of terrorists were killed and wounded forcing their remaining pockets to retreat.
Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.
Hama
The Syrian Army troops repelled heavy offensives of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at and other terrorist groups in Northern Hama on Monday, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

It further said that the army's artillery and missile units retaliated and shelled Tahrir al-Sham's positions in the region, inflicting major losses on them.
Aleppo
The Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) shot down a Turkish reconnaissance aircraft over the town of Kobani in Northeastern Aleppo, the group reported on Monday.
According to the official media wing of the YPG, their forces downed the Turkish Army drone after it was spotted flying over their positions in Kobani, the AMN reported.
The YPG seized the drone and its high resolution camera shortly after it was downed in the Kobani countryside.
The Turkish drone was said to have been capturing images of the YPG’s positions before it was finally downed this morning.
Idlib
Abu Mojahid, a notorious Chechen commander of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at, was killed in a bomb blast in Idlib province on Monday.
Abu Mojahid, a senior Chechen security commander of Tahrir al-Sham, was killed in a bomb attack near the small town of Darkoush in Northwestern Idlib.
In the meantime, a number of Chechen and Turkistani terrorists of Tahrir al-Sham were killed after a bomb went off in their vehicle in the small town of Zarzour in Jisr al-Shughour in Western Idlib.
Other sources in Northern Idlib reported that clashes are also underway between Tahrir al-Sham and other terrorists of Soqour al-Sham affiliated to the National Liberation Front in the town of Hazanou.
One of the commanders of Soqour al-Sham and three members of Tahrir al-Sham have been captured by the rival group.
Deir Ezzur
A senior commander of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces was killed in Deir Ezzur as tensions have heightened in SDF-occupied areas in Northern Syria.
According to Fars News Agency, the Arabic-language Baladi news website affiliated to the militants reported on Monday that SDF Commander Hamzeh Zabiyan was killed in a bomb blast near al-Omar oil field in Eastern Deir Ezzur.
It added that the bomb also killed and wounded 5 other militants who accompanied Zabiyan.
Also, other reports from Raqqa said that the SDF has erected new checkpoints inside Raqqa city and put its forces on alert.
A number of SDF forces were also killed and wounded after a bomb went off in areas near the village of al-Jarniyeh in Northwestern Raqqa.
Popular uprisings against the Washington-backed SDF have been reported in Deir Ezzur and Raqqa provinces in the past few weeks.
