RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Ahad Azadikhah, the spokesman for the Cultural Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, said that dealing with those involved in economic corruption in a decisive and quick manner is one of the best ways to improve the level of satisfaction of the people with regard to Iran’s Islamic system of government and Islamic Revolution, and said, “Today, all the moves and directions made in the country are towards growth and excellence.”

The Iranian cleric and politician added, “Therefore, the forces of the branches of government and other organizations must work to protect the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and all praise be to God, this important work is being implemented and the executive branch of the government is advancing with revolutionary thinking.”

Hujjat al-Islam Azadikhah further stated, “Although it’s possible that between taking effective and jihadi action, executives and forces of the three levels of government may have been infiltrated by some infiltrators and opportunists or by those who want to weaken or slow down this movement which is advancing the Revolution and who, in order to create distrust among the people in relation to the Islamic Revolution, apply obvious and hidden pressure. In this case the judiciary must act with all due diligence without any consideration whatsoever to contain such hypocritical movements.”

Emphasizing that the judiciary must investigate and prosecute cases of those involved in economic corruption as quickly as possible, His Eminence said, “The cases of economic corruption in the Islamic country must not be eradicated by the passage of time but the people must witness and observe the wise and just action of the judiciary in a predetermined and specified period of time.”

He added, “In relation to economic cases, the judiciary must act in regard to that which is in accordance with what the fact of the matter is and what must happen so that social justice is implemented in the country in it’s true meaning.”

Hujjat al-Islam Azadikhah said that the people’s satisfaction depends on the handling of economic cases by the judiciary and noted, “Of course, the judiciary must deal with those involved in economic corruption, opportunists and rentier families, of which there are few, without any consideration and on the basis of social justice and judicial justice. Certainly, people will be more satisfied with the Islamic Revolution and revolutionary aspirations and advancing movements.”

Iran is suffering from several economic problems – including a high unemployment rate, slow economic growth and a devaluation of its currency, the rial, as well as goods and currency smuggling.
