Rsasa - Governor-general of Homs province underlined the Syrian army's crushing response to the terrorists who have violated the ceasefire, and said the recent terrorist operations in Eastern Homs was supervised and led by the western and Arab spy agencies.

RNA - Talal al-Barazi referred to the terrorists' attacks on two gas refineries in Eastern Homs, and said they attacked the South and Ibella refineries in al-Farqalas region of Homs with 20 rockets which brought to a halt operation of the facilities.

 

Stressing that the army and its allies pounded the positions of the terrorists who have targeted the refineries in al-Farqalas region, he said, "The Syrian army confronts any violation of the ceasefire by the terrorists directly and immediately."

 

"The recent terrorist operations in Homs were conducted under the supervision of the western and Arab intelligence agencies which are trying to find influence on militants' front in Homs," al-Barazi said.

 

Syrian Army troops stormed ISIL's defense lines in Eastern Homs on Monday and beat the terrorists back from al-Maher oil and gas field with the back up of the country's fighter jets and artillery fire.

 

The army soldiers, backed up by warplanes and artillery units' heavy fire, managed to advance against ISIL and captured al-Maher energy field, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.

 

A field source said that the army aircraft's heavy bombardments and artillery units' fire inflicted major losses on the ISIL.

 

Elsewhere in the same province, the Syrian fighter jets pounded terrorists' positions and gatherings in al-Waer district in the Northeastern outskirts of Homs city in retaliation for the terrorists' suicide attack.
