Syrian Armed forces targeted several military columns of ISIL as they were moving from Raqqa to the Eastern parts of Aleppo province, destroying a number of vehicles and killing several top Saudi terrorist commanders.

The army men targeted several convoys of ISIL vehicles on Raqqa-Maskanah road heading towards Deir Hafer, its Northern villages and towns and regions parallel to Kuweires Airbase in Eastern Aleppo, destroying the military columns.

The Syrian fighter jets and choppers also hit an ISIL military column on the road to the town of Rasm al-Imam coming from Maskanah, destroying the column and killing a very large group of ISIL's suicide attackers, including their Saudi commander Abu Ma'ad and another commander, nom de guerre Abu Manif al-Jazrawi.

The army men also managed to destroy three vehicles of the ISIL in the town of Um al-Mari, killing all the terrorists on board.

The army's missile and artillery units also targeted ISIL's positions in Rasm al-Harmal, killing tens of terrorists.

Earlier reports said that Syrian Army troops continued to advance against ISIL in Eastern Aleppo and managed to take control over more towns, approaching the defense lines of terrorists near the town of al-Bab.

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL, seizing control over the town of Rasm al-Sarhan to the North of the town of al-Moltafeta in the Northern direction of Kuweires airbase after hours of non-stop fighting and inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

The army men also clashed fiercely with ISIL in a region Southeast of Aleppo and won back the town of al-Qotbiyeh, expanding their chain of security to the South of Kuweires.

A field source said that the army units in the town of al-Madyouneh, backed up by the army aircraft, engaged in heavy fighting with a group of ISIL terrorists, repelling their attack and destroying their military vehicles.

The source added that over 40 terrorists were killed and several more were wounded in the clashes.

Homs

Field sources in Eastern Homs said the Syrian Army troops have expanded control around the T4 airbase, pushing the ISIL terrorists 20km back from the key military airport.

"The army's massive anti-ISIL operation started in Mafraq al-Jahar, East of al-Mahatta al-Rabe'ah, towards al-Maher and al-Sha'er oilfields," the sources said.

The army said its operation is "a crushing response" to the recent attacks of the ISIL on Tadmur (Palmyra) and T4 airbase, they added.

"The army troops and their popular allies have expanded control over lands around the T4 airbase via advancing against the ISIL in the Southern direction of the airbase and taking control over Abu Talaleh and several other positions," the sources said, adding that "in some parts of the battlefield the ISIL has retreated 20km from the T4 airbase".

"Concurrent with the army advances, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets targeted ISIL's movements in al-Bayarat region, Palmyra and along the road to al-Sukhnah that is one of the most important supplying roads of the ISIL," they said.

Other sources said that the army men repelled several attacks of the ISIL in al-Qalamoun region close to the Mohaseh region near the town of al-Quaryatayn in Southwestern Homs.

The sources went on to say that ISIL has staged three major attacks on army positions in Mohaseh in the last two days to open a way to receive logistic aid specially after the government forces put the terrorists under pressure in other fronts.

"Bad weather in the region along with ISIL's bomb-laden suicide vehicles and attackers in all battlefields near T4 airbase could impede the army's rapid advances, but the army men and resistance forces carried out anti-terrorism operation yesterday and managed to expand the security chain around the military airport so that ISIL's nearest positon to T4 airbase is now at a distance of, at least 20km," the sources added.
