Rasa – The First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Iran paid a visit to the University of Religions and Denominations in Qom and became familiar with its ongoing activities.

RNA – Hideyuki Adachi, the First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Iran, held a meeting with Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Abolhasan Navvab, the head of the University of Religions and Denominations in Qom, to discuss some strategies on how to develop cooperation between the University of Religions and the Japanese Ryukoku University.

 
During the meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Navvab hailed Japan’s resistance against the United States’ nuclear attacks during World War II and added, “Japan has always been a resistant country. It has always maintained good scientific and cultural ties with Iran.”
 

The head of the University of Religions and Denominations also pointed at their university’s ongoing relations with other Japanese counterparts including Ryukoku University and highlighted their readiness to expand cooperation in different areas.

 

He also went on to refer to the critical conditions in the Middle East which are caused by the extremists’ actions. Hujjat al-Islam Navvab asserted that Iran’s current security and stability is a result of taking a moderate and proper view regarding Islam.
 

The Japanese official, who attended the meeting in order to expand joint academic-scientific cooperation between the two countries, expressed his happiness for visiting the university of Religions and Denominations and added the two sides improve their cooperation in new fields.
