Deputy Director of Education at MIU:‎
Hujjat al-Islam Jazayeri emphasized the necessity for the humanities to rely on the Holy ‎Quran and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt and said, “The humanities which are based on ‎Western principles and secular thought are the source of decadence and deviation.”‎

RNA – Speaking at a ceremony marking the beginning of the new academic year at al-‎Mustafa International University in the auditorium of the university’s Imam Khomeyni ‎Specialized University campus in Qom, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Hamid Jazayeri offered his ‎condolences on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn al-‎Sajjad and Sacred Defence Week and said, “al-Mustafa International University is an ‎institution which is a product of the Islamic Revolution and the source of the services and ‎publication of Islamic knowledge.”‎

The deputy director of education at al-Mustafa International University said that in the new ‎academic year, the number of academic disciplines at the seminary and university for non-‎Iranian students has increased from 120 to 400, adding, “The new educational system is ‎tailored to the new requirements of the target community.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Jazayeri emphasized the necessity for the humanities to rely on the Holy ‎Quran and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt and said, “The humanities which are based on ‎Western principles and secular thought are the source of decadence and deviation.”‎

He described the curriculum of al-Mustafa International University as dynamic, up-to-date ‎and based on authentic traditions of the Islamic Seminaries and said, “Mubahithah (group ‎discussions), avoidance of credentialism and serious efforts in the arena of training and ‎education are among the authentic seminarial traditions in the curriculum of al-Mustafa ‎International University.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Jazayeri expressed hope for the training and education of specialists tailored ‎to the needs of the Muslim world and said, “Every one of the foreign seminarians at al-‎Mustafa International University who returns to their home countries can lead the people like ‎a bright sun.”‎
