Qom Friday Prayer Leader:
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri referred to the issue of negotiations with the United States and said, “God-willing, the officials won’t repeat these bitter experiences of the past. We didn’t have good experience with the negotiations because the enemies sought deception.”

RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Quds ‎‎‎‎Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri referred to the Day of the Fight Against Terrorism and said, “The enemies make many claims but have nothing to offer in practice. The Taliban and Daesh were created by the Americans and Europeans and these hypocrites killed thousands of innocent people and today these hypocrites are embraced by the claimants of human rights and the fight against terrorism. Fortunately, the people of the world have recognized the faces of the false claimants and they have nothing to offer.”

The member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts referred to Government Week and said, “The people want to resist the enemies in a unified manner. Any sort of marginalization that provides the grounds for the infiltration of the enemies must be avoided. Today, the economy and culture are the priority and in the economic field, we need to boost production and honour and nurture the producers, just as we supported the warriors during the Sacred Defence [Iran-Iraq War].”

Referring to Iran’s progress in the field of air defence, he said, “During the Hajj this year, every non-Iranian pilgrim we encountered declared that they were proud of the power of Iran’s Islamic system and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei]. The people of the world are proud of having such a leader, army and the IRGC.”

Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri considered culture as one of the key issues in the country that has been neglected and said, “If we say that the enemies have launched a massacre against our values through the internet and social media, we haven’t exaggerated and we must guard our values and culture.”

The secretary of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary considered hijab and chastity as one of the major concerns of the believers and religious people and said, “Government officials are expected to pay close attention to holding conferences on the topic of chastity and hijab and not engage in actions which allow the enemies to say that after forty years, some of the people oppose these values.”

Referring to the issue of negotiations with the United States, he said, “God-willing, the officials won’t repeat these bitter experiences of the past. We didn’t have good experience with the negotiations because the enemies sought deception. The enemies are adorn their exterior but in reality they sought to attack and harm the Islamic system and revolution.”

Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri noted, “We must continue down the path of decreasing our obligations to the JCPOA so that the enemies know that we are not indifferent to their treachery. We won’t escape from negotiating with the people of logic and commitment but the people won’t allow us to negotiate with irrational and unreasonable people.”

Referring to the issue of Indian-occupied Kashmir, he added, “The issue of Kashmir is a wound on the body of the Islamic community. Iran’s relationship with the Indian government is good but unfortunately we are witnessing restrictions and arrests on Kashmiri Muslims. We call on the Indian authorities to make the conditions for a peaceful life and calmness for the Muslim people of Kashmir.”
