Hujjat al-Islam Malakouti said that the strength of the IRGC and the support of the Iranian people for this revolutionary institution has made it such that the enemies won’t dare to carry out any sort of action against the country and added, “If the United Kingdom doesn’t end its malicious acts, they will never be safe in the Persian Gulf.” RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Ali Malakouti, the representative of the people of East Azerbaijan province in the Assembly of Experts, referred to the capture of the British-flagged Stena Impero oil tanker seized in the Strait of Hormuz by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on July 19 and said, “The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamanei] has repeatedly addressed the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying ‘the era of hit-and-run is over.’ The IRGC’s action was a response to the vicious act carried out by the British [Royal Marines] – the seizure of the Iranian tanker [Grace 1].”
Referring to the oppressive sanctions imposed by the enemies against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom said, “Despite all the cruel sanctions imposed by the enemies on the country, we want to sell our oil in various ways, but the malicious British pirates seized our oil tanker in Gibraltar.”
He said that as long the British government continues their malicious acts in the Persian Gulf, they won’t be safe, he stressed, “The malicious British seized an Iranian oil tanker in contravention of international law and now they want secure themselves by slandering Iran.”
Hujjat al-Islam Malakouti noted that the Supreme Leader said “the believers and the revolutionary elements in the country will respond to the evil British government at a suitable position and opportunity” and said, “The powerful forces of the IRGC received the Supreme Leader’s message well and retaliated against the malicious British government in the best manner.”
His Eminence pointed out that if it occurs that we can’t sell our country’s oil, we will prevent the exports of oil by others and said, “By capturing the British tanker, the IRGC has demonstrated to the enemies that they can retaliate against their actions in a reciprocal manner.”
He emphasized that the West is now scandalized in the world and said, “We now see that the enemies have turned to exaggeration in order to gain their lost reputation and every day they make new and false claims.”
Hujjat al-Islam Malakouti said out that the enemies are always in delusion and added, “The false claim by the government of the United States regarding the downing of an Iranian drone by an American amphibious assault ship was another of the enemies’ exorbitant allegations.”
In conclusion, he stated that the growth and capability of the IRGC and the support of the people for this revolutionary institution has made it such that the enemies won’t dare to carry out any sort of action and noted, “This is what the British leaders have acknowledged themselves.”
