Hama

A senior Syrian military analyst said that the army has arrested nearly 30 foreign intelligence agents during the operations to take back the strategic town of Kafar Naboudeh in Northern Hama.

The Arabic-language website of Sputnik news agency quoted Brigadier General Ali Maqsoud as saying on Thursday that the Syrian army tactically withdrew from Kafar Naboudeh in Northern Hama after killing over 200 terrorists in three massive offensives by them.

According to Fars News Agancy, he added that the terrorists reinvigorated their positions immediately after arriving in the town with the support of the foreign experts and intelligence officers of several countries, including Turkey and Israel.

Maqsoud said that the Syrian army surrounded a large number of terrorists in counter attacks, detained 25 to 30 foreign intelligence officers, adding that militants launched several attacks to free the foreign agents but were forced to retreat.

According to Sputnik, the western states seem to be making suspicious moves, including false-flag chemical attacks in Idlib province to blame the Syrian government and force the Damascus army to free these foreign agents.

Idlib

The Syrian army's air and ground forces smashed the positions and moves of the terrorists in Northern Hama and Southern Idlib, leaving heavy casualties on the militants.

The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported on Thursday that the Syrian army's artillery units and air force pounded the terrorists' moves in the towns of Murak, Kafar Zita and al-Latamineh in Northern Hama and Tarmila, al-Habit, Kanasfareh, Ma'ar Zita, Karaseh, al-Naqir, Arinbeh, Sarjeh, Qaminas, Khan Sheikhoun, al-Rakaya, Qasibin, Ariha and Sheikh Mostafa in Southern Idlib.

Meantime, a military source reported that during these attacks, an arms cache, military equipment of the terrorists, their hideouts and military vehicles were destroyed, tens of militants were killed and a number of others were wounded.

He added that necessary measures have been adopted to set up a safe humanitarian corridor in Murak in Northern Hama for the civilians to be transferred to safe areas under the Syrian army control.

Jeish al-Izza terrorists, supported by Ankara, have admitted that during the Syrian army's attack against their hideouts near the town of Kafar Naboudeh in Northern Hama, tens of militants, including a number of their commanders, were killed.

Meantime, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that a military convoy, consisting of 50 vehicles, has been sent by Turkey to Jeish al-Izza terrorists in Tal al-Ais region in Southern Idlib and Tal al-Touqan and al-Sarman in Eastern Idlib, which are under the terrorists' occupation.
