Rasa – The leader of the Shi’ahs of Lebanon‎ noted that some reactionary Arab countries ‎have to sought to create religious and political cover for the “Deal of the Century” and the ‎acceptance of the Zionist regime as part of the region.‎

RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Sadiq al-Nablusi, the leader of the Shi’ahs of Lebanon, met with ‎Shaykh Salim Sousan, the Grand Mufti of Sidon, for a discussion.‎
‎ ‎
During the meeting, Hujjat al-Islam al-Nablusi‎ described the situation of Palestine as ‎‎“sensitive” and said, “Some Arab countries are pushing for a religious and political cover for ‎the so-called ‘Deal of the Century’ and to create acceptance of the existence of the Zionist ‎regime in the Middle East.”‎

His Eminence added that some organizations and reactionary Arab countries are also allying ‎themselves with the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran and are ‎hostile to this country which has always defended the Palestinian people. ‎

‎“This is while Arabs sit and watch and conspire against the Palestinian cause,” he added.‎
‎ ‎
Hujjat al-Islam al-Nablusi said that the Lebanese people must be vigilant about what is ‎occurring and be united in their position against the Deal of the Century and its conditions, ‎which includes the granting of permanent asylum to the Palestinian refugees and permanently ‎resettling them in Lebanon. ‎

The Deal of the Century is a proposal made by the President of the United States, Donald ‎Trump, intended to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. After 18 months of planning, ‎Israel’s officials have developed the proposal by visiting the four Arab capitals. However, it ‎is not ready to be presented to the public officially. Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas ‎described the deal as the “slap of the century.”‎
