Qom Friday Prayer Leader:‎
Rasa – Referring to the recent insolent actions ‎by the United States against the Iranian ‎people, Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri ‎emphasized, “The officials must respond to these ‎actions with active positions and repulse the enemies.”‎

RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Quds ‎‎‎‎Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri ‎referred to the recent floods in Iran ‎and said, “In the recent floods, in addition to human casualties, many people were injured. ‎In the words of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei], people ‎came to the scene and came to the aid of flood victims. They came from the farthest points ‎of the country to the flood-hit areas and everyone helped them on the basis of their ability. ‎Seminarians and university students canceled their classes and rushed to the aid of the ‎injured and created an unforgettable scene. May the peace of God be upon the people of ‎Iran who have always frustrated the enemies.”‎
‎ ‎
The member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts added that the ‎government must compensate the people for the damage at a quicker pace because some ‎people have lost everything they own and said, “One of the most serious problems of the ‎flood victims is housing ‎and the government must expedite the assistance of the charities to ‎provide housing for the affected people.”‎
‎ ‎
He argued that in regard to the recent flood, the enemies ‎have revealed their hostility and ‎stated, “The enemies have stood in front of provision and receiving of aid from the banks. ‎They claim to oppose the Iranian government but their goal is to destroy the Iranian people ‎‎– although through this path, they don’t achieve anything. The people with their ‎companionship and sympathy will develop the country.”‎

Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri ‎said, “We must stand up against misguided and ill-advised ‎imports. If foreign goods are imported in a misguided ‎manner, factories will be closed down ‎and workers will become unemployed. The judiciary and intelligence agencies must be careful ‎that factories aren’t transferred to the private sector and the workers are put out of work ‎and towers are built in the place of factories. This is a disaster and the judiciary and ‎intelligence agencies must be careful.”‎
‎ ‎
The secretary of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary ‎condemned the United States’ ‎designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization and ‎added, “Under international law, the armed forces of a country cannot be declared as a ‎terrorist organization and this action taken by the United States against the IRGC is due to ‎the enemies’ anger because, despite the high cost [the United States] has spent, the IRGC ‎has neutralized their conspiracies in the region.”‎

He added, “The enemies assume that by declaring the IRGC as a terrorist organization, they ‎will be weakened, but we have seen that the IRGC has gained greater popularity and all the ‎people and institutions supported the IRGC. Even those who had a difference of opinion ‎realized that whenever the Islamic Revolution was threatened, the IRGC stood against the ‎enemies.”‎
‎ ‎
Referring to the merciless action perpetrated by the United States against Iran selling its oil, ‎Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri ‎said, “The United States assumes that Iran won’t do anything ‎over its ending of oil exemptions and will wait for the permission or the refusal of ‎permission. The Supreme Leader said Iran would produce and export oil at any rate.”‎
‎ ‎
He continued, “Haven’t we been waiting for the United States until now? The people and ‎their officials must be active and vigilant on the scene and the enemies, who are perpetrating ‎their last blow to the Islamic Revolution, are retreating and defeated. The enemies want to ‎exhaust the people but the Iranian people aren’t exhausted but rather the United States and ‎the enemies are being made exhausted.”‎
