Parliament Speaker:
Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, in a message to Speaker of the New Zealand House of Representatives Trevor Mallard, said that the terrorist attacks on two mosques in the Oceanian country was a reminder for the world that peace is impossible without exterminating terrorism’s ideology.

RNA - The crime is another wake-up call for all countries in fighting terrorism and reveals the reality that the world will never see peace and calm but by drying up roots of terrorism, Larijani said in the message to his New Zealander counterpart.

He condemned the Friday Christchurch terrorist attack, and extended his deepest sympathy to the members of the parliament, government and nation of New Zealand.

“This crime once again reminded us of the need for the vigilance and cooperation of all countries in the fight against terrorism, and emphasizes the fact that true peace will not be established in any part of the world unless the ideological roots of terrorism are eradicated,” the Iranian top lawmaker said in the message.

“Iran is a victim of terrorism and has paid financial and life costs in the fight against the evil phenomenon; the country is ready to cooperate with all independent countries to reach a comprehensive solution for fighting terrorism,” he said as FNA reported.

He wished patience for the survivors of the incident and forgiveness for the dead and swift recovery for the wounded.
