Several Turkey-backed militants were killed and injured and three of their bases were destroyed in the Kurdish military operations against them in Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo.

RNA - The Kurdish-language Hawar News reported that the Kurdish fighters launched fresh military operations against the Turkish Army and their allied militants in Baseleh town in Shirava region, killing a Turkish soldier and wounding two others as well as destroying their military vehicle

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in several provinces across Syria.

Aleppo

Several Turkey-backed militants were killed and injured and three of their bases were destroyed in the Kurdish military operations against them in Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo.

According to Fars News Agency, it also noted that the Kurdish forces pounded the military positions of Ankara-backed Jbahat al-Shamia terrorist group in the village of Mariman in Shara region which resulted in the death and injury of six militants.

Meantime, field sources in Afrin also pointed to a bomb explosion in front of Sultan Murat terrorist group headquarters in the center of Afrin City which killed and injured a number of militants. They pointed to the Kurdish fighters as possible perpetrators of the bomb explosion in Afrin City.

Hasaka

Over two dozen Syrian children have died as a result of deteriorating conditions in al-Houl Camp run by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), media sources said.

"At least 27 children have lost their lives in February alone due to the lack of hygiene at hospitals and refugee camps in Northeastern Hasaka," the Arabic-language Al-Manar television news network reported.

It noted that the 27 children all lived in al-Hawl refugee Camp in Hasaka, and added, "They have been transferred from Eastern Deir Ezzur to this region and died of malnutrition and cold weather."

Deir Ezzur

More civilians, including women and children, were killed by phosphorous bombs dropped by the US-led coalition warplanes on Eastern Deir Ezzur.

The US-led coalition fighter jets conducted chemical bomb attack using white phosphorus on the gatherings of the civilians in al-Baghouz farms in Eastern Deir Ezzur along the border with Iraq on Thursday.

Several civilians, most of them women and children, were killed and wounded in the air raids by the US-led coalition, local sources in Eastern Deir Ezzur were quoted as saying.
