The discourse on the theory of Innate Nature and its outcome in the humanities was held by the Islamic Research Institute for Culture and Thought

RNA - The promotional-scientific discourse on the theory of Innate Nature  (Fitrat) and its outcome in humanities was held in Qom jointly by the department of Kalam (science of discourse) of the Research Centre of Wisdom and Theology and the Philosophy Centre of Excellence of the institute, and the professors and experts of the fields participated in the session.

Hujjat al-Islam Qasim Tarkhan, the member of Kalam faculty of the the Research Centre of Wisdom and Theology, as the speaker stated, “according to the Islamic scholars, the man is an innate-nature-based creature, i.e. s/he has an immutable dimension and the heavenly religion has been descended in due match to this nature. Therefore, considering its characteristics, the specific innate nature of the man can fork into three categories of cognition, orientation and competence”.

He said, “the recognition of this innate nature as the basis of anthropology in humanities forms a highly significant assumption. The effect/s and outcomes of the Innate Nature theory can be seen and followed both within the foundations of the humanities and in factors such as the topic, goal, method and issues of such sciences. This discussion, in the section on the foundations, deals with the epistemological and anthropological foundations of the sciences.

Finally, Ramadhan Alitabar and Hussain Kalbasi Ashtari the reviewed what presented by Hujjat al-Islam Tarkhan.
