RNA - Hujjat al-Islam Ishaqi described the administration of justice as the basis of the Islamic Republic system and said, “fundamentally, the dignity of the religion is solely distinguishable through the establishment of the government and involvement of the prophets with the policy.”

Regarding the elaboration of the just behavior, emphasized by the Supreme leader, Ayatollah Kahmenei, through the declaration on the Second Step of the revolution, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Hussein Ishaqi, in a comprehensive discussion, explained the characteristics of the justice-based behavior (justice orientation) within a religion-based government. A short summary of his statements is provided in the following:

The Goal of Establishing the Religion-based Government

Justice is a comprehensive principle that applies to all the dimensions of man’s life, and the world’s creation is based on it. If all the people attain their own rights, the justice is administered within the society.

The concept of Justice

According to terminologists, equality is what meant by the term “justice”. Justice, according to Raghib Isfahani, is the just distribution. And all the heavens and earth are created on the basis of justice.

The value of Justice

Justice is a heavenly principle and custom. Its significant is evident through the practical behavior of the religious leaders. For instance, in this regard, Imam Ali (AS) states, “justice is the pivot and foundation based on which the existence is created”.

Indeed, the administration of justice expands the life of governments and guarantees the development of the nations.

Justice, the foundation of the Islamic Government

Oppression and injustice exactly stands opposite to justice. According to Imam Ali (AS), oppression and injustice are annihilating.

Therefore administration of justice, as a goal of the appointment of the prophets and the religion based government/s, is highly significant.

The Just administers of Justice

Religion-based governments should attempt to administer justice in the society, and train some just executors and administers. The absence of such people will be a hard blow to different aspects of the government.

Public welfare in the light of economic justice

In a Muslim society, people should enjoy the required facilities and means on all levels, including health, food, education, housing and etc. A requirement of attaining the social welfare is the eradication of poverty from the society.

The Just Distribution of wealth in the Islamic Government

Another economic goal, due to Islam, is the just distribution of wealth. The wealth in a Muslim society should be distributed justly and equally.

Negation of Discrimination according to the Supreme Leader

The Islamic system believes in a wealthy society in which the poverty is absent. The basis of the Islamic Republic system is justice, and administration of justice is the main purpose of such a system.

Positive consequences of administration of justice

According to Imam Ali, just behavior by the leaders and administers of the Islamic system has some positive effects including the extension of the life of the government and repelling the enmities towards the system.

The administration of justice has been recommended by God, the Prophet and Imams.
