RNA - Ayatollah Seikh Abbas Kaabi, the member of the Assembly of Experts, attending the conference on “the Second Step of the Revolution”, held by Rasa News Agency at the conference hall of the Centre for Research on the Islamic Sciences and Culture, said “such scientific meetings and seminars on the Charter of Clerics should be included in the curriculum of the seminary and then added, elaborations should be made on the part of the seminary in the fulfilment of the targets of the charter of the clerics performed within the seminary”.
He continued, “the relation of the clerics and the system should be more orderly and serious and roles should be specifically defined; attempting for the growth and eminence of the system is the minimal obligation that the seminary has the honour to be charged with”.
Ayatollah Kaabi said, “the second generation of the revolution is a faithful, revolutionary, pious and competent youth and therefore, the absence of this group in the second step of the revolution will make it more complicated”.
He continued, “reviving and empowering Muslims, fighting against the underdevelopment of the Muslim community though providing plans on development and social justice, fostering unity, brotherhood and amity among the members of the society, combating tyranny and surmounting the operational obstacles in the society, attempting for the execution of the orders of God and construction of Islamic society, inviting to abide by the religion, stepping towards the Islamic culture, easing the pains of the men, attempting to boost social peace and propagating the culture of Mahdaviat are some other responsibilities of the seminary in the second step of the revolution. The part of the seminary in the humanitarian activities has been neglected”.
He finally mentioned, today, the seminary ought to help the system run within the principles of the jurisprudence, and the clerics should play role/s in the top positions of the system for the promotion and fulfilment of the goal of the Islamic Revolution”.
