RNA - “If the Iraqi educational system is not reformed in the future, we will see negative effects of the incorrect training of students in the society”, ayatollah Sistani’s representative stated.

In his Friday prayers sermon at Imam Hussein (PBUH) holy shrine, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ahmad al-Safi, grand Ayatollah Sistani’s representative and the religious guardian of the holy shrine of the Hazrat al-Abbas, demanded reform for the Iraqi education program and expressed, “Iraqi officials should improve the educational system of the country. Otherwise, we will face a generation that does not have any interest in their country and does not know the meaning of the love of the homeland.”

“Families should take care of their children in school, and this care is not limited to scientific issues, but important things like upbringing”, he added.

“Children should be educated in school and universities, and get acquainted with proper education”, Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s representative said and concluded, “As the lack of work on students’ education will affect the community negatively, all conditions must be provided for teachers in order to be able to perform their duties efficiently.”
