The Islamic Revolution has created a platform for the growth and development of religious knowledge
Rasa – Hujjat al-Islam Shakerin considered the Islamic Revolution as the basis for the growth and development of religious knowledge and stated, “If the Islamic Revolution didn’t occur, we wouldn’t see growth and development.” RNA – A conference entitled “Development of Religious Knowledge and the Logic of Understanding Religion in the Light of the Islamic Revolution” by the Political Science Department and in cooperation with the Logic for the Understanding of Religion Department of the Research Centre for Culture and Thought on the occasion of the conference “The Role of the Islamic Revolution in the Establishment and Development of the Humanities” on January 26 in Qom.
At the beginning of the conference, Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Hamidreza Shakerin said, “Our discussion at this meeting isn’t based on the fact that we claim that before the Islamic Revolution religious knowledge wasn’t available or if the Islamic Revolution didn’t occur, religious knowledge wouldn’t have formed, but in our discussion, the role of the Islamic Revolution in the development and expansion of religious knowledge is expressed.”
He stated that the Islamic Revolution is the cause of development in the field of religious knowledge and stated, “The thoughts of the late Imam Khomeyni, Allamah Tabatabai, Shahid al-Sadr and other scholars created a revolution in the field of Islamic thought and religious knowledge that the theory of Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent] and social discussions of Islam were the foundation of the emergence of the Islamic Revolution, just as the Islamic Revolution was the platform for the growth and development of religious knowledge. Certainly, if the Islamic Revolution didn’t occur, there would have been such growth and development.”
