The Damascus Army's air defense systems targeted and shot down an Israeli drone after detecting it coming from Quneitra towards Damascus.

RNA - A military source told Arab-language media outlets as saying that the Syrian Army's air defense systems downed an Israeli regime’s drone near Damascus.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Damascus

The Syrian Army's air defense systems targeted and shot down an Israeli drone after detecting it coming from Quneitra towards Damascus.

The Syrian Army's air defense systems downed an Israeli regime’s drone near Damascus on Friday night, SANA news agency quoted a military source as saying.

The source noted that the Syrian air defense detected hostile targets coming from the direction of Quneitra and intercepted them.

In a relevant development earlier, SANA reported that aerial defenses targeted luminous objects coming from the occupied territories, shooting down a number of them.

Meantime, the Arabic-language version of Russian Sputnik News Agency quoted a Syrian security source as saying that the Syrian Army's air defense systems downed an Israeli drone that had entered Syria from Southwestern Damascus.

The source pointed to firing surface-to-air missiles at offending targets in Southwestern Damascus near Syria-Lebanon-Golan triangle, and said that the Syrian Army's air defense systems had confronted six targets and downed a number of them.

The Israeli regime occasionally launches airstrikes on the Syrian territory. Such aggressive moves are meant to compensate defeats by terrorist groups against the Syrian government forces.

Aleppo

Turkish Army and its allied militants heavily pounded the Kurdish fighters' military positions in Northern Aleppo as clashes between the two sides are still continuing, media reports said.

The Kurdish-language Hawar News website reported that the Kurdish positions in areas near the city of Tal Rafat in al-Shahba region in Northern Aleppo came under heavy artillery attacks of the Turkish Army and its allied militants stationed in the village of Kafar Khasher and the city of Izaz in Northern Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), meantime, pointed to clashes between the Turkish Army and its allied militants and Kurdish fighters in Ain Daqaneh and other Northern axes in Northern Aleppo.

The SOHR, meantime, said that at least seven civilians were killed and wounded in the Turkish Army attack on this region.

Raqqa

A number of US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militants, including a commander, were killed and injured in attacks by unknown assailants on their military positions in Raqqa, media reports said.

The local sources in Raqqa province said that an SDF commander named Qahreman Wau was among those killed in an attack by unidentified attackers on an SDF military center in al-Sokr Square in Raqqa province.

Several other SDF militants were also killed raids on their military positions.

They also reiterated that a military police base of the SDF in Southern Raqqa was also targeted by the attackers.

According to Fars News Agancy, the assailants also hit a military vehicle of Kurdish Asayesh fighters affiliated to the SDF in Southern Raqqa, killing and injuring about 10 of them.

Meantime, the SDF has now declared a state of alert in different districts of Raqqa City and has installed military posts in the region.

Idlib-Hama-Lattakia

A 72-hour temporary ceasefire has been declared in Northern Syria after the Syrian Army made rapid advances in terrorists' key military bases in the region, media reports said.

The Arabic-language version of the Russian Sputnik News Agency quoted a battlefield commander as saying that truce has been announced in battlefronts of Idlib, Hama and Lattakia for the next three days.

However, no further details of the reasons and the manner of implementing the truce have been announced.

In the meantime, the Syrian Army troops warded off attacks by Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists on the towns of al-Masaseneh, al-Sahrieh and al-Amiqeh in Northwestern Hama, forcing them to retreat after killing a large number of the militants.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Army took full control of most vital military bases in Northern Hama after inflicting heavy losses on a large number of battlefield commanders.
