Iranian President Hassan Rouhani reassured that his country will leave behind the current difficulties mainly caused by Washington’s harsh policies against Tehran, adding that problems will be overcome with national solidarity, self-sacrifice, planning, better management and better governance.

RNA - Referring to US decision to stop Iran oil exports and imposing psychological and media pressures, President Rouhani said Iranian government will pass problems with unity, self-sacrifice, planning, better management and good governance.

The Iranian top executive made the remarks in a meeting with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in presence of the cabinet members, the MPs, the heads of three branches of government and the cultural, social and political activists on Tuesday.

Americans think falsely that they will be able to bring Iranians to their knees and have even set date for it, Rouhani said adding that Iranians with their resistance have created golden era in the history of Iran.

Referring to pressures that people are suffering from these days, Rouhani urged officials to control imported goods for confronting sanctions and reducing people's problems.

Elaborating on Iran 60-day deadline to Europe, he said that reducing two commitments to the nuclear deal since May 8, Iran will leave two other ones after 60 days.
Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday that Iran will give a 60-day moratorium to the states parties to Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to remedy their breaches and restore Iran's interests enshrined by the international deal.

Rouhani referred to inauguration of 15 phases of South Pars gas field, saying the biggest gas condensate refinery which is unique in the Middle East has been inaugurated.

It increased gas production two-fold and caused self-sufficiency, he said.

He pointed to opening the development plans including the roads, railway and also linking four provinces to main railroad.

Reminding improvement in trade balance of the agricultural products, Rouhani said that in addition to rise in guaranteed wheat purchase, increasing the production of oilseeds and self-sufficiency in wheat production, greenhouse cultivation increased from 8,000 hectares to 15,000 hectares.

He also vowed the figure to reach 20,000 hectares in the future.

Last month, Head of Iran's Management and Planning Organization Mohammad Baqer Nobakht reassured that the country’s economic problems will be resolved, adding that the country has been following a trajectory of achievements in the past 40 years.

According to Fars News Agancy, Nobakht said on March 08, “In the last 40 years following the victory of the Islamic Revolution, there has been not a single day that enemies did not make any problem for us.”

Today, the US president cries out and claims that he wants to bring the Iranian people to their knees. But he is unaware that the most powerful states were not able to do anything in the last 40 years and, in principle, because of this, they sat down with us at the negotiating table, he added.

The official said that today Iran is stronger than 40 years ago.

“Today, the Basij (Volunteer forces), the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guardians Corps (IRGC) are at the height of their power; the country is scientifically ranked 15th in the world, and the country's economy is one of the 18 major economies in the world,” he said.

He added that to achieve a decisive victory, the element of obedience to leadership, empathy, and great efforts are necessary.

A few months ago, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei called on the Iranian government not to wait for the European states to implement their proposed package to settle the economic problems in the country.

"You should follow tasks in a serious way within the laws of the country. You should not wait for anything or anyone. One day, we made the economy of the country dependent on the JCPOA (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action). The JCPOA failed to eliminate our economic problems and to help us in a noticeable way. The result was that the people became conditional towards the JCPOA so much so that when that dude (Donald Trump) announced that he wanted to get out of the deal, we experienced turbulences in our market. This has continued since he has declared so. Consequently, we have become conditional. We have conditioned the people to this situation, too," Ayatollah Khamenei said in a meeting with Iranian cabinet members in Tehran.

In mid-February, Ayatollah Khamenei, in a highly important statement issued on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, underlined that the coalitions and meetings the US leads against Iran will not yield any results.
